Brandi Mihajic
Brandi (she/her) is a part-time creator based in Queens, NY. When she’s not working as an accessories product developer, you can find her scrolling for new inspiration and taking photos to hopefully be someone else’s inspiration. A big part of why she loves creating content is the community building and making so many friendships with likeminded girls!
Let’s Chat with Brandi: “I believe I would be a great winner to show that you don’t need 10k+ followers to have a successful Instagram account. I know that so many girls (and sometimes even myself!) feel like they can’t achieve success if they don’t have a large following. I think if I win, it will help show many people that you can truly do anything you set your mind to!”

Ciara Strickland
Ciara (she/her) is a distinguished style influencer and former U.S. Navy veteran, renowned for her innovative approach to genderless fashion. Through her platform, The New Mixx, she educates and inspires a diverse audience, offering insights into building wardrobes that transcend traditional gender norms. Ciara's work not only sets trends but also encourages individual expression and sustainability in fashion.
Let’s Chat with Ciara: “I believe I would be a great winner for the 2024 IHC Awards because my work in promoting genderless fashion not only challenges traditional norms but also fosters a more inclusive and sustainable approach to style. Through The New Mixx, I have successfully bridged the gap between education and entertainment, empowering individuals to express their identities freely and confidently. Gabriela Tubert
Gabriela (she/her) is based in New York City, but grew up a bit everywhere, living in Ecuador, Argentina and California. She is first generation in the US, and has been feeling so grateful to be here. She started doing fashion content with her sister. After university, they would go to Gabriela’s sister’s room, do their makeup; then go to their neighborhood for a walk and take silly photos. She has since loved creating fashion content!
Let’s Chat with Gabriela: “I would be a great winner for the 2024 IHC Awards because I love to help motivate and inspire women. All women are naturally beautiful, so I believe is easy for women to be beautiful, to be stylish, to be creative. What is difficult to find in a person is that sincerity and kindness and love for people. That is something I know I carry with me and will always let that determine my actions and my future.”

Kathleen Ngo
From kindergarten to Kathleen’s (she/her) senior year of high school, hand-me-down uniforms were all that she could remember — from the plain polos, to the pleated skirts, to the classic knitted cardigan. Entering into college, she was struggling to find her personal style and felt overwhelmed by those who seemed to already have it all figured out. These past two years her love for fashion and k-pop have seamlessly blended into her content to which her kpop-inspired/concert outfit videos have gained steady traction and a community that has given her not just genuine support, but real friendships that she wouldn’t have otherwise.
Let’s Chat with Kathleen: “It would be such an honor to win an IHC Award because this community has gifted me time and time again with the opportunities that have guided me on my journey to begin creating fashion and lifestyle content. As an Asian American woman, we are often told to be quiet, unassuming, and to not stand out, however, these past two years I have found a way to express my style boldly and creatively that allows me to nurture my identity in ways I’ve never thought to before. I owe a lot of my success to the k-pop community in which they have allowed me to feel safe and inspired to build outfits inspired from group concepts or songs. Being a midsize fashion creator has also challenged me to challenge the idea that fashion is more than just articles of trendy clothing, but the collection of balanced items that help build a visual story.”
